This dissection course is focused on the temporo-parotid resection, a comprehensive en-bloc resection of the parotid and temporal bone, indicated in advances cases of parotid and periauricular malignancies. The symposium “Temporal Bone Resections in Advanced Malignancies of the Parotid Gland”, held on the morning of the 17th, will explore the rationale and indications of the procedure (refer to the event brochure). This dissection course will follow the symposium and will demonstrate the surgical procedure through a fresh-frozen head dissection, with continuous guidance from the faculty throughout both the head and neck and skull base surgical steps. This approach involves a combination of head&neck, otologic and skull base surgical skills.
